Job Summary
Under supervision of the PI will work as a member of a parasitology
research team charged with isolation, diagnosis and
characterization of parasites from diverse clinical and
environmental samples. Provide technical support and intellectual
contribution on clinical diagnostics and research projects
pertaining to animal and human parasitic pathogens. Develop new
assays that are relevant to veterinary patients as well as support
of ongoing research projects and contribution to future projects
through grant writing. Supervision of students, laboratory
management, and technical tasks (e.g. nucleic acids extraction, PCR
assays and sequence analysis). Laboratory maintenance duties such
as cleaning and sterilizing glassware and disposing of waste.
RECRUITMENT PERIOD ONE MONTH: Applicants will be screened after two
