You will have an extraordinary opportunity to work in a collaborative environment that values and utilizes client feedback to inform the fit choices we make every day.About the RoleWe are looking for an Associate Technical Designer who enjoys weaving creative problem solving with technical accuracy to create amazing products. You will be responsible for owning at least two product categories and ensuring fit and quality standards are well-executed and consistent across all styles.This position is site-based at our headquarters in San Francisco, CA, and requires regular on-site presence (5-9 days/month) for optimal collaboration and engagement with our team.You're excited about this opportunity because you will---

  • Manage product category fit sessions ensuring style and fit intent is executed to Brand guidelines.
  • Utilize innovative data platforms as well as 2D, 3D pattern and fit software.
  • Leverage client feedback to determine areas of improvement across styles and implement product action plans to improve fit consistency across your category/categories.
  • Develop, implement and maintain category quality, construction standards and fit blocks.
  • Build close relationships with cross-functional team members and external vendors, as well as leverage team member expertise and provide feedback when appropriate.
  • Create opportunities to lead special project initiatives.
  • Have a flexible approach to working and supporting across the broader Technical Design team as and when required (including women's/men's/kids' categories).We're excited about you because---
    • You have a strong knowledge and understanding of the fit and technical construction in multi product categories for core/plus size.
    • You are an excellent multi-tasker, extremely detail oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills.
    • You are passionate about using data science and client feedback to help improve overall quality and fit of garments.
    • You bring expertise in the following: Textiles, pattern making, grading, construction and pattern terminology.
    • You have experience working with factories and have an understanding of production timelines, equipment and garment construction options.
    • You can problem solve and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
    • You are fluent in Google Workspace and have strong experience evaluating 2D patterns (experience in Optitex 2D software or 3D CLO software a plus).

The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation-including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location. This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance.
